hi everyone!
hi everyone
my girlfriend just bought me a wheel, so I decided to get lfs after trying the demo!
I'm still training offline only, as I'm not very good

My best time on blackwood with the xfg is 1:41x, but I'm slowly improving

I'd like to try some online racing, but I think I'm still too slow

byee!

That's some girlfriend you have, she's a keeper!
Congrats and welcome to LFS

btw: don't worry too much about being too slow to play online. The most important thing is that you respect the other drivers and obey the rules. It doesn't really matter if you're not so fast yet. Besides, in my opinion you learn faster and more online. So, just do it!

Welcome.

You are never too slow.

If you know the track and the braking points a bit, know, what a blue flag is and you can drive the car in a straight line, theres nothing to keep you away from driving online.

I'd suggest watching the leading drivers first, when you join a server, so that you get an idea of their lines.
hello and welcome to S2. You will have more fun then with any other Sim fo shizzle

thank you!
I tried a couple of online races, but I have a problem!
I have very frequent lag spikes! I've tried in a couple of servers with 40-50ms ping and few people, but it was the same...
any idea on how I could get rid of this problem? I don't think that's my connection's fault...
try using the search function to find threads which contain infomation about lag. could help. by the way, when you feel up to online racing, you can join my team if you want to. just a thought
yeah join mine and capt. slow's team if u wanna

our slogun: their is no such thing as 'to slow'

yeah problem solved! it was a known issue about a acpi driver
I'll keep in consideration your invite! Now I'd feel just too ashamed to join a team
I need some more training! :P
i once had a donkey...

Yeah I'm slowly improving! I should study as I have an exam soon, but lfs is taking all mi "free" time

Is there an add-on which keep tracks of my personal best and compares it with my hotlapping times?
I found a similar one, but it's for servers only
thanks!

Well, www.lfsworld.net keeps statistics about just about everything you do online.

I'd like something for my offline hotlapping sessions, so that I don't have to remember each time that my best first split is x, the second one y etc.
I hope I have explained myself well

ah ok Don't know if there's a tool that does that. Can't remember seeing it anyway.

there is an option for uploading them, but im still trying to figure that one out

edit: on www.lfsworld.net go to S2 hotlaps, then its the second tab from the left i think...

yay 1:38.85! I'm very happy, even though I know it's a crappy time :P

I'll attach the replay, maybe there's someone kind enough to watch it and give me some hints
