And the GP kicks off with 5 place penalty for Lewis Hamilton for gearbox change, because of damage apparently caused in last 2 days.
In other news Lewis Hamilton has a 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change.
Apparently Hamilton's had to change his gearbox.
A gearbox change resulted in Lewis Hamilton having a five place penalty.
bloody stupid rule.
Has Lewis got a 5 place grid pen for changing the gearbox? Cant find any answers
I do believe that Lewis got a 5 place grid penalty for changing the gearbox, but that's only my opinion.
Quote from Intrepid :bloody stupid rule.

Helps keep the cost down though. I think the idea is fine, just that its executed badly. Why not just allocate a set number of gearboxes and penalise when a team uses any extra ones? Just like how it is with engines.

Meh. Same rules for everyone though.
Did Hamilton get a gearbox penalty or am I just seeing shit?
Bottas.

Why can't we just put him in a car now?
Wow! Awesome qualifying session. That lap from Rosberg was phenomenal!

Mercedes 1-2 lockout, Kobayashi 3rd and Kimi 4th. Tomorrow should be good!
That was fantastic. I love how Kobayashi with Kimi is right behind Mercs. That should make a great race. Mercs for the win.
damn, given the nature of the track is it weird to say Kobayashi has a Legitmate chance of victory in dry.

So why should Hamilton get a 5 spot penalty if he has to change his gearbox?
Quote from aoun :So why should Hamilton get a 5 spot penalty if he has to change his gearbox?

Because its been the rule for like 3 years now.

What about if he changes his engine?

That lap from Nico... wow! Kobayashi 3rd!!

10 place.

What about if he gets rid of Nicole Scherzinger?
We'll see how they manage tomorrow though - They do lose quite a lot in race trim. My money is on Kimi actually... Unless McLarens can get up there straight away, Kimi should be well set for a very good chance at victory. Dont really expect Kobayashi to challenge him, but who knows. Either way it will be good!
