Why is it that some take pleasure in rear-ending me on the cooldown lap?

I ran into no one, I caused no wrecks, I ran at a respectable speed.

Yet every so often, I am deliberatly ran into from behind, even though
I am well off the racing line.

how in the world is anyone going to answer that?..

and also, it happens, and mostly on public servers there is no cool down lap.


if you want clean racing get S2.

Cleaner racing.

Or try Redline Racing demo servers, we don't allow crashing, wrong way driving etc.... before, during, or after the race.

Well if you don't race on to get some additional tracktime or try a different approach to T1, why does it even bother you? It's not like you have to repair your car and pay for the repair bills

I don't mind some post-race carnage, part of the fun in pre S1 days.

Usually people find it funny. It is not as a punishment to you, but that is funnier than crashing a wall...stupid, yes, and even more when you don't do it to a friend/team mate.

Because a lot of parents race when kids are in bed, and if you use a ff wheel, it can make some racket when someone crashes into you again and again.

I realise you can crash mid-race and wheel will make noise, but it never seems as bad as when someone deliberately hits you.

Another good reason Redline don't allow post race crashing is that it gives the impression to anyone joining after the race and before next race starts, that this is just another server full of immature kids crashing.

I for one usually continue driving in one form or another.. testing..
And it's not fun if someone ruins that by crashing.

i neevr do it on purpose... but if my eyes leave the screen for 2 seconds as i reach fr a drink...
