i have the skins for the car except there from S1 and i cant seem to get them to work or there not the right file or somthing was wondering if some1 could do somthing with them for me.. cheers

you have to re-name them with XFG_name.jpg and XFR_name.jpg. I didn't take a closer look at them, but you might have a few spots that are wrong depending on how old these are, because the mapping was changed slightly. Just post back and there probably will be someone who can fix it

yea there a good few years old.. 1 other thing is there just pictures now and not the correct file

really cause in the LFS Skins x file the skins are all a different type of file and i cant seem to get them to work?? can some1 help?

The skins_x folder are the .dds files that lfs downloads when other users join so you can see there skin.

You should be saving your .jpg skins in the lfs\data\skins folder, your skins seem correct apart from the ones named XFGTR_skinname.jpg these need to be re-saved as XFG_skinname.jpg.

once you put them in your skins folder open lfs, go to the car selection screen and on the left you will see a list of skin names.

Just below this list is a button labelled "new colours" click that and it will list all your skins including the new ones, click one of the new skin names and then you will be able to select it.

Edit : I have renamed all the skins for you so they should work, .zip attached.

are brill mate it works now so how do i get it so that every1 else can see it? do i post them up on LFS world

theres 1 slight problem with these and thats the ars end of them all .. there all upside down? can any1 fix that for me and re post?
