Qualifyinq will again be in the F1-style Knockout Qualifying system.

Q1: 20 minutes long, shift+s and shift+p allowed; top 20 at session end advance

Q2: 15 minutes long, shift+s and shift+p allowed; top 10 at session end advance
<<5-Minute Break>>
Q3: 10 minutes long, shift+s and shift+p allowed
Regardless of laptimes, but excepting for grid penalties, all drivers who take part in Q3 will start ahead of drivers who were knocked out in Q2, and all Q2 drivers will start ahead of drivers who were knocked out in Q1.

- Only one driver may participate in qualifying for a team
- The driver who does qualifying must run at least one lap (not counting in lap or out lap) during the race
- A team who misses out on qualifying entirely will start from the pitlane in order of Pre-Qualifying Time.
- A team who starts a lap but does not complete it, or has all laptimes removed for any reason, will start from the back of the grid in order of Pre-Qualifying Time.
