Just finished my mock up for my simulator rig, turned out pretty good.

$50 in timber
$40 in hardware (bolts, screws, wheels, carpet)
$50 for an MX-5 seat
$50 for the paint and polyurethane

couple of weekends and you've got an awesome and very very sturdy rig.

It'd be much nicer if you raise the screen, and tilt it towards you also! But very nice!

If the screen was raised, then wouldn't the wheel not match up with LFS?

ah yeah i get what you're saying, it depends on the field of view and the size of the screen too though, in an ideal world I'd love a 60" screen

That's almost the same as what I made for myself
