If your using that example from Albert Park then that's not really fair to say it rolled. Have you ever tried to push a slick tyre laterally across tarmac? And with the pointy snout of a Holden pushing into the unloaded side, I'm actually more impressed that the thing didn't get completely turned over, all credit to the drivers for not pushing through and responding right even in a 'out of control' situation.

Those V8's have an exceptionally low roll centre, it takes a lot for them to go over, and that one did have an awful lot of help.
Awesome battle with Frosty and Whincup..

Just a shame 7's coverage missed the last 2 laps and skipped to the end!!
Davison and tander crash on lap two. Tanders car on fire.
Eric could have created that pitlane xD
Hi, all. I've got a question about some of the music that was used during the qualifying for race 3 at Barbgallo today (the soft tyre session). When they came back from the break with about 6:30 left in the session and Garth Tander on screen does anyone know what music was playing? There was a guitar and hand claps and a girl just started to sing something that sounded like "Real secret Sunday" as White was talking over it and it got cut off. Any help in ID'ing the track would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
What happened to Holden this year? Last year they were pretty much dominating, but this year Holden is nowhere to be seen except Team Vodafone and Tender.
I'm happy that Ford performance racing has been so strong this year, something new for a change..

is that the one? Perhaps people will know there more. Quite a cool track.

No, that isn't it. I've tried using Tunatic to try and identify it, but it's too short and there's too much engine noise and commentary over it to get anywhere. The voice sounds a bit like Norah Jones. I've cut and uploaded the usable audio to this post, so if anyone feels like trying to identify it I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

edit: Thanks to Niall on LFS. The answer was Adrian Lux - Teenage Crime.

Just seen race 3 from barbagallo. Great ending! Definately one of the best set of final laps. Loved the radio at the end... "pass them both or take them out"
Race about to start. Any picks?
Wow! huge crash! So lucky is wasn't a t-bone. Amazingly no safety car.
Great race!

Really nice drive from SVG.. epic save towards the end. Very lucky not to get caught up in that crash, that was a hard hit!

V8 supercars again showing why it's the best motorsprt series in the world.

Well Giz was lucky to not go out himself, he's basically the one, who caused it all by his mad driving. Brave, but mad.

E: Nevermind, checked replay clip and saw that he was bumped from behind. Brilliant save indeed.
Fresh news from V8 FB page:

1997 Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve is the shock fill-in for Greg Murphy in the Pepsi Max Crew Commodore at next month’s Sucrogen Townsville 400.
The Canadian will take the wheel of the #51 Commodore and make a cameo appearance, replacing the four-time Bathurst winner in North Queensland who recently underwent surgery to fuse two vertebrae.

I think he might do okay in there.
Until T1, if history is anything to go by.

Looks like Heidfeld will be teaming up with Reynolds for enduros maybe?

Not that I take that pic as any proof but Nick is probably the perfect codriver, not always quick but brings the car to the finishline. (I would love a endurance in F1 (instead of driver change, park in front of the other car))

Hidden valley is a sweet race track, several great overtakeing spots, at very few tacks can anyone go last to fourth like Caruso and Lowndes (yes, it has been bettered but with lots of SC or weatherchanges)

Go Lowndes!!!!
