I remember when I was at school, they got the whole school (~1000 people) to go outside and jump :S .

I might give this one a miss, I could be up a ladder tomorrow carrying a big bit of glass at that time, dont think it would look to good if I jumped, fell off the ladder and smashing some money's worth of glass

My guess is that 50% of the people who was going to jump are standing
still to see if they can feel the earth shaking when the time hits zero.
