Logitech DFGT Profiler
Hey there, im new to LFS and i was wondering how i can get a profiler for my Logitech DFGT to adjust the settings etc.. I really need help and i hope someone can give me some tips etc. Im mainly using it to drift. Cheers
what tips do you need exactly ?

general rules are:

1) get decent setups off setup grid or similar

2) get well set up with no force feedback but no deadspots removed.

3) set wheel to 720 max

4) practice doing 180's and weight transfer ( heavy turn left, feed to the right and vice versa )

5) nail the basis then give it a week or two and you'll be driftin like a boss

6) buy s2, drifiting is generally better on here... same amount of kids moaning all the time but theirs one or two cool people who'll share more personalized sets ( i'e other dfgt users )

7) some people use slightly different tweaks and setups, response rates etc... its more of a live and learn thing for me and my DFGT... but hey, thats half the fun ! again, if you ask politely most should help you no problem, if not, avoid them and their server, they're not worth you're precious time.

if you need any more advanced advice just ask, ive been usin my DFGT about 2 years i'd guess and after buying a g27.... i think ill keep the g27 pedals and use the dDF wheel
Haha cheers for the help man! All I need to know is what to setup, im such a noob at this stuff and I figured I may aswell buy a wheel if i want to drift on LFS. I have no idea how to set this wheel up haha, if you could tell me what you did when you first bought it to get up and running i would really appreciate that! Thanks for your time and effort in replying

sorry for long time without replying eh basically i set the wheel to 720 degree's tweaked the profiler and ingame FFB settings to my liking ( getting them as realisitic as possible... different settings for different tracks/layouts cars and tandems etc etc )

alot of memorizing, configing etc...

then copy exactly what you see in the likes of all the drift bible videos, lfs driftng videos etc... watching others drift for a minute or two can save you time wondering how does someone get that extra bit of control on entry and such...

get as many different sets as you can for the car, some work better then others with you're wheel... ive now 2 wheels ( g27 & dfgt ) i find the DFGT better, but the g27 slightly more realistic at 900... but you dont actually need that high. I know these things im saying are pretty vauge and i do apologize but its a 2 fold issue you have i think 1) alot of it is live and learn tricks that some teahc others you learn 2) luck is everything... nudging settings to the left or right, trail and error... educated guessing, call it what you will but you have to learn somehow.

basic guide is here on the wiki, reitterates some of what i said, other parts are more for racing config then drifting...
