Dear Readers,

I came across something on the internet where I can order DVD's of complete F1 broadcasts in Dutch since 1989.

I'm planning to buy a max of 10, so that's why I'd like to ask you all your top 10 or top 5 of best Grand Prix since 1989.

First one's I can think of myself would be:

1. San Marino 1994
2. Brazil 2003
3. Belgium 2001
4. Brazil 1991
5. Canada 1998
6. Belgium 1998
7. ?
8. ?
9. ?
10. ?

Can someone give addition, or better ones?

I'm looking for races with lots of exciting action and some crashes.

San Marino 2005 and 2006 for sure, Monaco 1996, and if you have enough space, Canada 2011.

Not best at all for this one in particular no. I'm just very interested how everything happened and was in original broadcast with Dutch commentary. Only saw 1 tiny clip from it in Dutch.

This is all a little sadistic isn't it Walter? The whole concept of Formula 1 has been excitement and I don't think a focus on the dark side of the sport that has long gone is very appropriate or healthy. By all means conduct your own research into Imola 1994 as it is a controversial aspect of history but don't go to a racing forum and ask for clips of people suffering and dying in the sport - that is, as Tristan has said - morbid and highly concerning.

The whole point of this is that after watching such things he could easily say "SENNA IS THE BESTEST RACER IN UNIVERSE OF ALL TIME, COZ I SAW HIM DRIVING!".

Who cares if someone died ffs, people die, it's inevitable, there's no point getting all weird about speaking about, or viewing death.

Rocklan obviously wants to relive those moments, the aftermath and the reactions from other drivers/spectators. It's not about just 'seeing someone die' it's about going back to that moment and reliving it. Just like when you watch a classic GP you don't watch the last 3 laps, you watch the whole thing, because of the atmosphere.

There's no real explanation for a fascination with these incidents, but then again, there's no real explanation for a fascination in anything.

But the fact here remains, these things DID happen and there IS footage of them. There's no point ignoring it to satisfy your own inherent fear of death.

Then search in youtube for people dying don't advertise your sick habits on a forum.

I admit the way in which he is asking for such broadcasts is a little unorthodox but at least he's straight to the point unlike many in the world.

I want to relive action I didn't see. And about the 1994 one, from all I've seen from Senna, including the movie, it's not that I want to see the race to see him die. It's more to relive the incredible emotions that could be felt during that GP.

I was getting a few mixed dates then. Thought 2004 Italian GP was a MSC victory aswell as 2005 San Marino, just a year off tho. Forgive me lord CSF.
