People only go there to show off and/or to be looked at. Nothing to do with music. Been to over 250 party's, think I've seen it all by now. Germany is still cool though. N1 thursday-sunday

Do the people in these vids look like they are there just to be seen, or do they look like they just wanna have fun? There are SOME who fit your description but they are less than 1% of the total crowd and tend to stick to the VIP areas.

The official Tomorrowland stream and aftermovies only put in footage of 'good-looking' people, this is probably what made you think this in the first place.

I used to go to clubs where they only played minimal tech/house (Bodzin = god), sometimes for 30 hours straight, but I grew out of it.
Now I just enjoy being wherever my friends are, local hostel parties or big festivals. As long as the atmosphere is good, I wouldn't even mind listening to Lady Gaga or whatever.
And Tomorrowland has by far the best atmosphere I ever witnessed, so yes for 300+ Euros i had an AWESOME weekend last year (5days actually, Thu->Mon) and it was worth every cent.

Whilst I agree that everything was better in the 90's, you should stop living in the past and accept that things can change.
