Quote from Tomhah :Got crashed out in race two. Passed someone around the outside in Luffield, but he then ran wide and hit my rear-end, sending me into the tires... At least he got a penalty :-)

shame though, I was really on it. We made some good adjustments to the car, and the conditions were more similar to the test-sessions earlier this summer where I matched Seb Morris.

Sponsors are happy though, so I'll be back next year! The field was so close it was insane! Such a close qualy!! Really fun! Being 0.5 off pole in my first ever qualy in such a car isnt bad.

Tommy, from an outside prospective I'd say you had a pretty good showing.

Out of the 7 "one-off" drivers, only one had truly more impressive drives than you, and it was the 2012 UF2000 champ and Team USA scolarship winner Matthew Brabham(who happens to be the grandson of the 3 times WDC Jack Brabham), with a 6th and a 14th. Since he has quite an impressive pedigree and is pretty hyped these days, no shame in finishing behind him.

Too bad for the race 2 incident anyway, especially as it happened on the televised race.

Best of luck for next year. Are you taking part in the 2012 BARC Winter Series too?

F2.0 BARC is such a great series anyway. Considering the tough economic situation and all the hype around the F1 tracks, it's impressive to see that they still manage to attract 30+ cars grids, in a mere national championship.
So unlucky you got picked by him Tommy.

Surely you opened some eyes now!
Why doesn't MG sack Neate he sucks badly, backfield in a factory car lol.

Without him they might not be on the grid at all. He's bringing a huge part of the budget. MG is a "works" team by name only.

I'll just quote some guy from justin.tv, who claims that he used to stick around BTCC pitlane and says, that Neate's car is just development car for Plato.
Spotted by Dan Welch. Team HARD. taxi?

Gordon Shedden (still unofficially) is the 2012 champion. Well deserved achievement.

And more importantly - Honda took all of the trophies

Good for Shedden, one of the cleanest drivers gets the DC. Justice served.

Yep. It's been a bit of an up and down season, with the boost equalisation controversy and the questionable driving standards. But I'm super glad that the right driver and the right team won in the end.

Grats to Gordon Shedden, a true class act. And fair play to Neal Sr for giving his two drivers an equal shot at the title. Fair play also to Jr, for playing the teams' game and helping Shedden secure the title at Brands - returning the favour for Gordon's help last year.
