The online racing simulator
A few more Training lessons (or something to cut down the amount of noobs online)
As I and as many people know, there are quite a few noobs in lfs both demo and s1/s2 drivers. I think a few more training lessons should be added...for example, one of the lessons could be: Braking in time for a corner and the driver would learn to brake in-between the 100 and the 50 signs.

I think there should be another training lesson which is: Controlling a skid on both mud and tarmac the driver will learn how to correct the skid which can prevent him from causing an accident.

Or I think all drivers should have to pass every single training lesson (demo ones if the driver is a demo racer and s1/s2 lessons if the driver is s1/s2 licensed.) because then, I think there will be less noobs online and alot more clean racers due to the fact that they have learned the skills of racing on the training lessons.

Now I'm not saying that this should be done NOW because I know the devs would say that there are more important things to work on at the moment, but maybe in the future, I hope this or something similar to this would be put into LFS.

What do other people think? .
I would gladly complete those tests if not for the AI which behaves like professional rammer/crasher/noob/T1 terrorist/you name it.
So until AI is improved I dont see anyone completing those tests and since LFS have misfortune of having ONLINE in title, this online is being used as an explanation why AI doesn't need any improvement.

That said I would love to have something similar to RBR rally school, demonstration and practical test, tests made by LFS forum members demonstrating and explaining various rallying/racing/drifting techniques all in game, easy to download and install as an addons.
Demonstration would be basically replay with notes written by test maker appearing on screen or played from mp3 file at pre-set intervals.
I highly doubt most of the demo users even acknowledge the training.

Thats true....I think lfs should have some sort of Point system where Newbie racers and noobs will have to earn a certain amount of points in order to unlock Multiplayer, single player and hot lapping by doing the training lessons. Once they have completed all of the training lessons, Multi player, single player and hot lapping will be unlocked....I think this again will reduce the amount of noobs that are online. I think this way, demo users and newbies will have to look at the training lessons.
Many years ago you had to earn 200 points to drive XRT in demo, but there were only complains about this, so its removed since X or Y? version.
Punishing all the sensible people because of a bunch of nubs sounds like a bad, boring and a tedious idea.

I really miss those points requirements, though the system was pretty "buggy". The file that stored how many credits you had were in plain text, and you just had to do a few races of 1 lap against the AI to unlock the XRT

People complained, as they always do, but I found it useful for me (I did not even have internet back then, and it still helped me not to die in the XRT xD).
Oh, didn't know points were in plain text, I had some external program for XRT

But look from general newbie perspective, is it better to drive 250 HP or 140 HP?
Of course everyone will choose 250. Most of newbies are just trying to have fun, and crashing is fun. Not much you can do here, only racing on more serious servers (with admins, and some restrictions) will help.

I thought I've been playing for a long time. I don't think I was around then.
Not a good suggestion - people are very different, some might not succede these mandatory training lessions and give up without even knowing what they are missing. If you don't like these noobs, there is a ban button if it's your server,in other servers also you can start vote if a guy is worth to get rid of,or just contact server admins. If that noob is really an idiot,he will collect enough bans for global ban soon enough.
