(yes this is LFS assotiated) This is what I want to know, is there a way for me to capture the screen as a video insted of taping what I do on my computer if my camera sat on my desk?

I've recorded using fraps and had no watermark using the free version off of their website. Theres an option to disable it IIRC.

did u see the .gif animation, when it goes on general, it says unregistered, under that it says fraps watermark along top of video

thats only for webcams, but I found one beta one, get it b4 they price it <-- says free but its 25 to but :S

As my machine is not top spec fraps causes my lfs to have a very low frame rate. Is there a less cpu hungry prog out there?

lower your screen resolution, and turn off other programs running

either way your going to have to look around; try that one dustin just posted up a few posts, see if that works 'better'

but i doubt your going to find something that works 'better' because it still has to take however many screenshots and in live time save it to a file which is constantly growing so.. its not that easy
