hi all,

i'm a new user of life of speed 0.6b. i'm trying to put in place a outgauge udp connexion. but after change the cfg.txt config file for outsim and outgauge i obtain on race the udpconnect error message could not create socket in the left corner of the screen :

Outsim:: Udpconnect : could not create socket
OutGauge::Udpconnect : could not create socket

see below the cfg.txt file :
OutSim Mode 1
OutSim Delay 50
OutSim IP 127.0.0.1
OutSim Port 10001
OutSim ID 1
OutGauge Mode 1
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1
OutGauge Port 35555
OutGauge ID 2

I checked the files rights and all users have full rights on all LFS folder, lfs.exe was define in the windows firewall to allow network connexion

i tried the same configuration on an old wxp computer with the same cfg.txt conf. on xp computer all work fine.

Does someone have the same issues on vista 32 ?

Visibly i alone to have this problem.

I Tried to fix the Winsock2 problem on vista with a special microsoft fix program (MicrosoftFixit50203.msi) but always the same messages...

Do someone know if it's possible to put S2 in debug mode to try to understand why when the race start, i obtaint the error messages :

Outsim:: Udpconnect : could not create socket
OutGauge::Udpconnect : could not create socket

Vista is a bit of a disaster product really.

Yes LOL, or downgrade to XP !

thanks for your help, it surely more easy for me to change to w7 or to re-install my computer with a refreshed vista version.
