Made a DIY Cocpit.
Hi. I Have a problem. I Have a cocpit, from damaged Fiat Seicento Abarth. Seicento have a tachometer and outgages (km/h). I need a guide, to build connect Tachometer and Outgage -> PC to LFS.
What do I need to connect to? I'd buy the wheel G25.

Thanks for your help
Do you think a tachometer that only goes to 80kph is any useful? I don't know if all tachometers are able to be used?

Haha, what? Thats the RPM! 8000 RPM! :-P
The kph goes to 180... :-P
Lol yeah I see now. Pretend I never said that...
Ehm. I have a ATMEGA 8, how to connect this with gauge, and rpm? + How to use this with LFS?
I believe it requires quite some work. Not sure how to connect that to a PC in the first place, is it USB? Once it's hooked up and working you'll have to write a program that 'reads' the information from OutGauge and then sends it to your dash. It might be over your head without the knowledge for this. Sorry I can't help you any more specific but I never used anything like this, but I'm also very interested in it.
Refresh, Can anyone help?
With a monostable multivibrator (and a potentiometer) that gives out 1-2ms of impulse in a period of about 10-20ms you should be able to get a servo moving. The length of the pulse is what matters.
So in essence, simply build a pulse width modulation circuit, glue it between your pc and the needles on your fiat 600 (which looks so fantastic I have to say) and it should work.
