When adapting, the main thing will be to concentrate details near the rear wheel arch then stretch a clean smooth line towards the front. Also use the black area on the door to further enhance the concave face above the bone line.
Want to get some feedback from the hardcore racing fans, What sort of content and media experience will enrich your connection with a team, or can enhance your viewing experience besides the live TV coverage? If there can be an interactive element, what will be a meaningful thing to do? Speaking from a web based platform.
Would a live chat with the crew or team manager during a 24hr endurance event be pretty attractive then? with live photos and updates more detailed than your usual twits.
I quite liked the raw onboard feeds some of the lemans teams offered via the net, throw in a dedicated pitlane feed, live telemetry, some textbased updates and you've got a fan.
high one and seven luck are the best ones imo, the volvik one is nice from the front but then it kinda lets down on the rest. i understand that it is a wip, so there is potential there
- Volvik is a golf equipment company, so I would imagine the whole thing not being terribly interesting if it happens.
- High 1 is a resort hotel, and by far the most refreshing in terms of identity, my fav.
- CJ is a media entertainment and distrubution enterprise, its logo will be enough to carry the whole theme forward so I am fine with that too.
- now 7 luck is a casino...and generally with casino you get all the hyper materialistic PR bullshit, so I kinda hope they won't go for that one...
don't think a team manager would like to chat during the race. But like troy said raw (HD) footage from the pits and the car, with no cuts and no music are great, because they give you a feel of really being "there".
those mock-ups:
the tribalic Volvic one is great,
the High1 one looks too "normal", like a typical Porsche Cup car,
the Seven Luck one is cool because of the way you integrated the 7 into the whole design.
The CJ wrap look too much like a 3 year olds attemp of doing a car in a colouring book.
that Turbosnail car, hmm, looks unrealistic, and a turbo brand on a N/A race car?
