...I thought I read somewhere before that the AI will go either side of different coloured cones and poles...or am I going insane as I cant find ref. ?

I'm trying to make an auto X layout with AI but they keeps going nuts
I don't think the AI recognize cones or poles, let alone the colour of them.
I think that was a project done by...(MustangMan maybe?) to create he's own IA system.

Yep, they suck :cyclops

Mustangman759? ... can't seem to search/find AI related topics there...

Is there no way to give the AI a path to follow (do the AI accept any communication or input at all)?
I've experimented. All they really understand is yellow flag cars. And they only sometimes are smart enough to figure it out.

Quote from Whiskey :I found the thread I was talking about Artificial Intelligence Project, by blackbird04217, I knew the autho was from US

Thank you, thats quite a thread.

Leaving the whole 'how to give an AI a human brain' discussion aside, is it possible to simply alter the main track and corner paths they are first given? ... I'm not talking about taking data in real-time, I simply want to alter the default corner position paths

If corner-position data can be changed why can't a (for example) purple pole indicate one of these positions?

I guess layout data and the default track corner/position data given to AI when track is loaded are separate to one and other.

How to make 'purple pole' represent default corner position data?
How to pass AI new position data @ layout load?
