I was just wondering if demo racers where aloud to or able to mod. The only reason is just to get the v8 mod for the xr gt just to hold me out until I get s2.

You're allowed to use LFSTweak and such, but not .vob modding (not allowed at all around here).

A .vob mod is a modification of a car shape (3D model). It may also alter its collision mesh, causing a lot of problems on online crashes. So they are completly forbbiden in LFS.

Yeah, I gotta add to that. I've seen guys do like Mustangs, 70's Vans, PickUp Trucks and such in single player mode (Drifting usually).

I found some modds I would like to use and downloaded them, they are a nissan s15 skin and some setups but having a hard time getting them to work. I know no no one can get into my computer and help me but any help would be appreciated.

I am very confused with your post sir, darace doesn't mention anything about sharing setups or skins to be illegal. I'm going to assume you are paying attention to the 4th rule. But, all I really see is that you and I are probably breaking the 1st rule.
