Honestly, I miss the old 900+hp engines... guaranteed to make current F-1 cars look pathetic. A 750hp champ car with a high downforce package wiuld be great against the BF-1.

Heh... I attended the 2005 GP of Long Beach. From inside the back straight parking garage I likened the sound level to FA-18 hornets flying low overhead on full afterburner--i.e. temporary deafness ensued. How much louder do you reckon an F1 car is? anyone here who's heard both?

euhm at Zolder ive heard a F1 and at an airshow here in belguim was a F/A 18 hornet and i dunno what to think because i was closest to the car and plane and i dont think the car and the plane's noise isnt far away from eachother (i guess)
