All race lengths are scored laps. Road course races will have an extra (unscored) formation lap; The Kyoto 500 has two extra unscored formation laps. The KY1R oval event this season will have three unscored formation laps.

Each road course race distance is the minimum number of laps to exceed 250 kilometres. Each race will be either its scheduled laps or 2 hours, whichever ends sooner. Oval races have their own set of things, see the rules for them.

Event Timetable

18:05 UTC Qualifying, 20 minutes. Field split into two groups, sessions run concurrently on separate servers.
18:31 UTC Grid Stacking Begins
18:40 UTC Formation Lap Begins

NOTE: Qualifying for the oval will begin at 17:30 UTC, and run for at the minimum 45 minutes to allow anyone to qualify on the single-driver Oval format.

On a serious note, i think 4 kyoto races is too much, especially having a 2nd oval race. I think KY1r should be replaced either with another Aston course or South city.

Well except for both road courses being placed on the same venue, they just share a bit of the oval and are, other then that, independent layouts.

We used to have a Speedweek oval race which was dropped. Last year we had an autocross oval race. In 2010 we had in fact 4 oval races.

FO8 wouldn't handle F24 unfourtunately. That is correct. Great for XRT or something just a little slower than GT.

You guys could make an oval around the pit road wall at Fern Bay green if you wanted something different

I'd comment that I'd take away the KY3 layout in favor of another Aston event, but I'm sure that you have your reasons

Could we not have FE4 with the loop added in where FE2 heads for it's S2?? That would be much better and a true test of skill.
