I've had a used set of Harman Kardon soundsticks II for about a month now, they worked perfectly fine.

All of a sudden, i cant hear any sound from them. I think it was after i plugged them in and windows failed to find a driver so some reason, even though i have the driver... i've tried them in different usb ports and it says the hardware was installed correctly bla bla..

it shows they're plugged in and enabled in windows, it shows sound being played aswell, but i hear nothing from them. Can anyone help?

Have you tried all the basic stuff? (Batteries, checked if they are on, restarted windows)
Then see if they are your default sound device, as PC may send sound to the 3.5 port and show that something is playing.
Also, check the speakers with another computer to be sure that they aren't broken.
