There are places that people like you will always find their comfort zone, where everyone are eager to justify their common feeble beliefs, that place is usually religious, and conservative.

I have accepted there are many people on world who cannot understand people as individuals and cannot make sense of the world without ample use of stereotypes, which this statement is a stereotype by itself:

But at least I go out and interact with people on a human basis, regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, race.... not because my culture is superior or I am to prove anything, but simply I have got pass that insecurity against the unknown and unfamiliar.

And that very simple fear, is basically the whole world's problem in the nutshell, but people who refuse to face their fears will cook up endless theories and institutions to cocoon themselves. Take sides, find allies, and find the devils.

So whatever you will say before you break that mold, will only mean one thing to me, you haven't taken the red pill yet, have a good dream.

Just think over this:

Islam, Christianity, capitalism, Imperialism.....are all just human constructs in a certain time and age. Regardless of the existence of these constructs, as long as there are people who think projecting their values is worthy of causing bodily harm to a stranger....stuff like this will happen.

And by human nature, this will always happen, and just under different banners and flags.

...

Thank you.
Quote from dawesdust_12 :Why does the race matter in this context? Would it matter if it was a White or Mexican or Asian or European or Russian or Australian immigrant?

Why mention race when it's not needed. It just makes you look (even more) ignorant.

Just try and see how far you get in Mexico. But if it was the other way around it would be ok. I believe the Mexican president himself said something along those lines.
Beebs certainly had no problem here.
I'm just saying your government shields you from the people that our governments subject us to. It isn't racist, any color person could share the belief in Islamism and Jihad. They are more successful indoctrinating people from countries with high violence and low literacy like in Africa or the Middle East. The Boston bombers were caucasian...

Don't make this about race, I am only talking about regions (Africa) and political movements (Islam), not ethnicities.
You are making it about race though. By dictating quite specifically an African jobless immigrant (rather than simply jobless immigrant), you're indicating a prejudice against people from Africa and it's displaying that you feel that there is a problem with a surplus of African people coming to your country and being unemployed.

You can't say something in line with "Women belong in the kitchen" and then say "don't make this about sexism".
if thats the crux of this whole issue to you then by all means play semantics to avoid having a discussion. That is how progressives ignore the problems they have inflicted upon our society. Divert and deny, you should have Jay Carney's job.

Its racist to talk badly about terrorists because they come from places where not everybody is white...pathetic reasoning.
Yes, because instead of addressing that you are, in fact a racist, you choose to use another pejorative such as "progressive" (again, insinuating that change and diversity is a bad thing).
how about the pejorative dumbshit as it applies to you.

*EDIT: Not all Canadians are dumbshits, just to be fair.
Yes. I understand we live in a modern age where making racist comments such as kook aren't acceptable anymore.

Hopefully you'll be able to adapt to our fast moving world before you're left behind in a time where ignorance was common place and where a person wasn't a person.. they were a "black person" or an "asian person".

Don't be too frightened when I tell you that women and even people of colour can vote and even own property!

Don't tell your idol Bender that.
We're talking about cultures and peoples to whom the concepts you just mentioned don't exist at all. Your concern is oddly selective.

LOL, you got him there.
I would like an update on the story if anyone has anything new. I already heard today about two more suspects being questioned.

Or you missed the point.
the point is you're a troll. You don't put any time or effort to form an educated opinion about a topic but you spent time to find a single incidental word to argue about. I'm finally ignoring you.
So I'm the troll for standing up and pointing out that racism isn't appropriate no matter how casual? Yeah, that makes sense. I guess we should just start calling everyone racial slurs because it'd be trolling to point insensitivity or poor choices of words.

Maybe you should go try that. Approach a few different ethnicities and call them the most severe and offensive racial slur you can think of. See how far that gets you.

A normal human being will be thrown 5 feet.

For an American, probably 3 inches.

There is me being Racist.
And an Aguarunan can chuck a spear 200 feet.

Quote from flymike91 :Our countries are extraordinarily rich in culture

what country are you talking about cause it sure as **** cant be the usa
I'd agree with that. America is one of the few countries that a person coming from a foreign country is expected to drop all of their traditions and unique cultural traits to become 'murican. If you don't you're considered weird and awkward because you don't attend the weekly Lawnmower race, or get Dale Earnhardt's face tattooed on your back.

Fortunately most sane countries (Yay Canada) actually invite and appreciate the fact that cultures are diverse and celebrate these differences. If you're German and just love the feel of lederhosen.. Party on.

Heck, if you wanna be 'murican in Canada, drive a Heavy Duty pickup truck with testicles dangling from your trailer hitch while streaming Nascar to your car and stopping at every 2nd McDonalds for a few cheeseburgers... Go to town.
Ok now I know dawesdust doesn't know what he is talking about and is just being an anti-murican troll.

I know. A real American would stop at every McDonalds.
BS and FP
When I was in UK 3 years ago, my train to Liverpool was canceled so the company paid me a taxi from Manchester to Liverpool. The taxi driver was a Muslim, probably in his 40s. It was a long drive so we talked a lot on this topic of religion, Muslims, living in EU, etc. One of the best discusions I've had. The guy was very smart and explained me a lot.

My girlfriend works in International Organization for Migration. They work a lot with immigrants from Africa or Middle east, who are on the way to USA/Canada, but they must spend some time in camps in Slovakia in order to get proper medical examination, some schooling, etc.
Many times, when these people arrive to the airport, people point their fingers on them, ask police officers (they must be present) and IOM stuff why are these people here and wether they will stay in our country. They also must somehow let everyone from the group know that they "don't need these ****** faces and ****ing Arabs in their country".
I imagine these people as one of the first, who, in sign of any extreme conflict in their country, would fly abroad.

One of the key of EU politics is multiculturalism. They wish EU to be better place to live for everyone, not just Europeans. It's very good wish and I wish this too. But we can see it doesn't work. Every action makes reaction and so we have racism on both sides, but actually government is afraid to call racism when foreigners do it.

After opening borders in UK, Germany, you can see how many immigrants they have. But not only from Islamic countries. Everyone knows there are also many slavic people in UK and you see Polski sklep in every decent town. That's why in Ireland it doesn't matter if you're Polish, Czech or Slovak, just speak your language and you get beaten on the street (of course it's just example, but it happens), because we're all Polish now. Who's fault is it? Polish? or Irish? EU's?

When I hitchhiked from Albania back home, I was crossing Serbian-Hungarian borders on foot. It was end of summer and I was surprised by massive traffic jam in front of borders. I wasn't use to it anymore (for those who don't know - these borders are enter zone to EU as Serbia is not part of Shengen zone), the traffic was maybe 2km long. All those cars (or maybe 90%) had German plate. Most of the cars were also SUVs - BMWs, Mercedes. All of these German cars were full of Arab / Turkish people. After they crossed the borders, they stopped at parking lot, laied their carpets on the ground, danced, smoked shisha, ate. Maybe Germans then can explain what it's like living with them.

In my country there's huge problem with gypsies. They don't go to school, they don't work and government spends millions of € to build them new houses every few months. There's no case a Slovak family would get a new apartment so cheap / for free. And they do it because they don't want to be called racists by EU.

I hate it when people generalize and they call all Muslims terrorists. Not just Muslims, all Arabs. Some people also hate when Arab women wear their heir covered under scarf. Also local people laugh at it and they forget that it was also custom in all Slavic countries - women after they got married covered their hair. They just don't do it anymore because it's not "western" enough, but you just go to nearest village and meet any older woman - they all wear scarves. People slowly - in all EU forget their national traditions and customs. They only save their Christmas dinner. I'm not saying I'm somehow different, but I'd prefer to keep in mind how did our ancestors live before us.

These people also never met any Muslims, they just watch TV / read newspaper and always see the combination of words "Muslim" + "terrorist attack". I must say, somehow it's also Muslim's fault. I'm 100% sure not all of them are terrorist. In fact, I'm sure a fraction of 1% is the bad one, just like in any other nation in the world. But it's always them who present their religion in this way. So they can't be surprised people now will dislike them. After that, their chance of integration in EU will be almost zero. There's some kind of hidden racism in everyone. When these immigrants will look for a job and employer will have to choose from 2 guys of same qualities, but one is native and other foreigner - the native wins. I must agree, these people don't enrich our culture in any way. People are not interested in this.

I was on few IOM parties, where immigrants meet and make their local meals, present their countries...it's very interesting and the food is delicious of course, but there are maybe 30 people altogether. No one's interested in "****** faces" and "****ing Arabs". That's why no one knows what they're like in real. EU can try as much as they want, but it will not work. Most probably never. In these conditions, where Muslims demand Belgium to become Islamic country and this happens in UK https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10201412851066921 , immigrants will never be safe and natives will hate them. Keep in mind - things you see and you read about are presented as "Arabs want this..." "Muslims do this..." - but it's just very tiny minority of the minorities.
