Server-side group C style fuel limit.
This would be a great idea. It would also level up GTR class racing (if the limit was set right) so the FZRs would have to try to not run out of fuel (they drink petrol like there isn't any bloody tax on it). A Group C car would be nice, but it could work ever so nicely with the current cars.

Exhibit 1: Blackwood GP, 1 hour 30 mins, WR pace rounded up to the nearest second. (Fuel control online stats)

FZR 130.91% (1 stop)
FXR 96.72% (0 stops)
XRR 100.75% (1 stop)

AFAIK all the GTR cars have 100 litre petrol tanks, so a 120 litre limit in this case would even it up, the FZR will need to pit AND drive to preserve the fuel, the XRR could splash and dash or preserve the fuel a bit, and the FXR won't have too much of a problem unless you drive badly.

Why is there a need to "limit" everything .
Limit incongruity, yeah

Exciting IRL unintresting in LFS. If there was going to be a limit it would have to reduce the tank size anyway or (although I hate the idea) be success balast.
Serverside and clientside ballast would work.
Ideally, all three GTRs would lap as fast as one another, on average, while having different fuel and tire endurance.
Fuel limits are brilliant for RL enduros to force fuel efficiency. But in LFS, this is very silly. Imagine if all FZR drivers snail their way around the track instead of driving their best just to save a couple of litres. An excellent RL example is NASCAR, where the ban of tire warmers has forced drivers to resort to blocking tactics after each tire change. So much for better racing.
