At first glance the empty space between the ESC and F1 button looked like the F1 button

Yeah, that's what I thought.
Amazing setup there, Matrixi. A pure awesomeness
Quote from Matrixi :Nearing battlestation nirvana. Working with Photoshop is so much nicer now with extra screen space.

Rotated the right screen 180 degrees after taking the pic so its logo/buttons are facing outwards, cba to snap another photo.

What monitors are you using?
17, 24, 17?
5:4, 16:10, 5:4?

Is it good for racing?
I have one dell 24 16:10 and I think I can easily buy two 17 monitors, whcih can be rotated...
20" (4:3 portrait) 30" (16:10 landscape) 20" (4:3 portrait)

It's alright for racing, 3x 16:10 screens would propably be better for a wider FOV and less hassle to setup. That would be too wide for any other kind of gaming if you ask me though, this is a nice compromise for all genres.

I'm sorry that I underestimated the size of your monitors.

I want to do the same with my 24" (16:10).
I'm searching for the right size of the side monitors (portrait).

I think 17" (5:4 portrait) is right?

Can one GPU handle two side portrait monitors and one landscape?

Don't know really, you'll just have to research which 17" screens you have in mind to make sure they match your vertical resolution and physical height when rotated to portrait. Dot pitch should also be as close as possible to the main screen.

Depends entirely on your GPU and combined resolution you'll be running.

I have DELL 24 1920x1200 so I need monitor with 1200x____. dunno, what size yet.

I have GTX 470.
I'm pretty sure there aren't any precisely 1200 pixel wide screens available for consumers in a standard form. 1152x864 4:3 is as close as I can think of, that would of course result in black bars. The next step would be 1280x960, which doesn't match either.
there used to be some 4:3 1600*1200 21" monitors which are pretty much exactly the same height as a 24" 1920*1200
My 24 16:10 panel is 556,0 x 361,6 mm

How could 21 panel portrait fit to this?
not portrait normal landscape mode its a perfect fit

Nice beers post #10 lol

I found this old photo on my camera of our office.

Guess which desk is mine.

Desk at work.

Now have 2 screens / 2 keyboards / 2 mice there as I've got another PC under the desk.

Why not just get a KVM switch?

1 keyboard, 1 mouse, 2 screens, 2 pc's
First PC has dual screens when i switch to it, but second PC only uses the right screen when i use it.

At work our product is sold pre-loaded onto PC's, which means in the corner we have an equal supply of PCs, monitors, keyboards and mice - easier to grab a whole bundle for testing.

I did try using 1 screen and swapping the inputs (dual input monitor) but it was a pain in the arse.

Keep the second monitor, keep the second pc, get the second mouse and keyboard and hide them. Then you still have an equal amount of everything in the corner.

Then buy this

This is what my boss has, there's a button which you can mount on your desk anywhere, press the button and it will switch to the second PC allowing you to use only one mouse and keyboard between two PC's.
I have the same sort of thing but an older KVM switch, i switch between PC's by press 'Scroll Lock' twice and then the up arrow.

Invest in a switch, trust me, if your planning on keeping the two PC's it makes life A LOT easier.
If you don't change PC often, might I recommend Synergy? I've been using it for a while and it is great, takes a while to get used to as I use it with a laptop and a PC so I keep wanting to use the laptop controls, but once you get into the habit, it is fantastic. It works cross platform too.

Obviously if you change the second machine on a regular basis, installing and setting up Synergy would be a major pain in the balls.

The second machine gets wiped about 5 times a day (right now - a lot less later), can't go on the internet. Doesn't really seem worth going for the solutions above.
WTF are you doing for it to need wiping 5 times a day. I think you're not supposed to go to weird porn sites at work Jack.
+1, wtf are you doing to have to wipe it
so many times a day?!
Never heard of imaging a drive?
