Welcome to the 1stBFA BF1 Championship!
Since there was no BF1 competition in the past our team decided to host one.
The main intention is to have fun but also to have some serious racing.
In the following lines you will find all the necessary information in order to compete.

Round 1 - 10-07 : Fernbay Black (FE4) : 24 laps
Round 2 - 17-07 : Kyoto National (KY2) : 34 laps
Round 3 - 24-07 : South City Long (SO4) : 35 laps
Round 4 - 31-07 : Aston National (AS3) : 32 laps
Round 5 - 07-08 : Westhill Int (WE1) : 37 laps
Round 6 - 14-08 : Kyoto GP Long (KY3) : 26 laps

17:30 UTC / 19:30 CET - 20 min Qualification
18:00 UTC / 20:00 CET - 45 min Race


Participation:

In order to take part in the championship just post the following information.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you use exactly the same pattern, otherwise our automated script won't work.

Registration is possible until 3 hours before the race starts.
You only need to register once, people can also register during the season.
It is assumed that participants are familiar with the rules!
The server information will be added at the bottom of this post, the password will be send via PM to all competitors before each race.

The worst result is dropped. If you miss a race it will automatically become worst result.


Rules:

All drivers have to follow the Rules of Clean Racing and the following specific terms.
During the races there will not be an admin observing the race, therefore drivers need to report incidents if need be. However we will watch parts of the replays.

• You are allowed to use Shift+P during the qualifying session. Shift+P during race (for example after a start collision) will be penalized with DSQ.
  
• The Setup, tires and amount of fuel are free to choose in both sessions.
  
• One mandatory pitstop without further restrictions.
  
• Respect blue flags, holding someone up significantly will be penalized.
  
• Overtaking under yellow flag is forbidden.
  
• Pit exit line must not be crossed
  
• Drivers need to qualify within 107% of the pole time. Otherwise they are not allowed to take part in the race.
  
• When defending their positions drivers are allowed to do one move away from the racing line.

All races will take place on the 1stBFA BF1 server.
There is also a Teamspeak 3 Server which can be used during the races. Request the password on our server.

May I suggest either One lap qualifying first stint race fuel or Q1 Q2 Q3 qualifying?

Incase you dont know how one lap qualifying would work is when you Shift + J in qualifying you will not be able to shift + P untill race is started.

Q1 Q2 Q3 definitly not, otherwise the qualification would be longer than the race itself.
One lap qualifying does sound interesting, but before considering it there should be more input.

Id do something like this :

Session time = x drivers multiplied by 30 seconds.

Cars sent out in opposite order of last race result (By number for first race)

Cars sent out every 15 seconds.

Blue flags will be extra punished if not obeyed (Holding up another driver on their lap)
Once you're told to leave the pit you will not be permitted to shift + p or shift + s, if you do so you will have to start at the back of the pack (Same penalty if you time out after you leave the pit)



I think this qualifying system would prove interresting if some that might not normally be able to fight for poles or wins could do qualifying on less fuel and possibly start high up

The first post says "In-game name:" with a hyphen, while your post doesn't have it. So which one is right? :-)
