Round 2 is nearing - already after 3 days Blackwood will be visited by GT allrounders,each race will be 19 laps long around the classic 3.3km long Blackwood GP Track. If in 1st round all but 1 driver picked FXR for qualifying,then in this track the stategies can change as it's not that much slower then other cars here. Even 1 round has been already done,practically everyone with good pace is still able to win any championship title,so the series action is just starting to pick up!

Round 2 official results / GTAS 2013 Drivers Championship standings

Invecs is considered as the winner of 2nd round - he scored the most points through all 3 sessions - 30,M.Kapal scored 1 less,each of these drivers celebrated a victory in one race,while Matiss took all 3 points in qualifying by setting the fastest laptime.
In Drivers Championship standings M.Kapal doubles his lead to closest rival - he is now 10 points ahead of Invecs,who overtook his teammate Falcon for 2nd place in standings. Invecs took over the lead of FX Maxter standings and is 2 points in front of Rony. M.Kapal extended his lead in FZ Master standings to 7 points over closest rival Rony. Also XR Master standings is led by the czech driver - he is 5 points ahead of Invecs in this chart.
By scoring a massive 57 points in last round,Race Green Autosports continues to pull away from the rest in Teams Championship,currently having 33 points advantage over Savage Simsports. But in Nations Cup we have a new leader - Latvia overtakes Czech Republic and now leads by 8 points.

Still 5 rounds to go and any title can go either way,as current standings just marks the main candidates for all titles. Next round is the 1st from 3 rounds where the custom starting procedure will be used as there is no standart starting grid in 3.2km Kyoto North configuration,which is a shortened version of original KY National by using the other oval section between the ends of infield road course.

Round 3 is the first round to be held at a open configuration layout - it's the 3.2km long Kyoto North configuration,run in anti-clockwise direction,which basically is shortened Kyoto National. 18 laps is the distance for both races. Since this track is quite unknown,it's pretty difficult to predict any car choise favourites.
This will be also the first race with custom start,as the only available original LFS grid is outside track's path. The new grid is located on slightly bended straight after the multiple 90° turn complex after entering infield course from oval,and it's marked with white chalk markers on ground. Every participant is expected to be familiar with custom starting procedure described in main post of this thread,if there are any uncertainties,please ask them before start!

Round 3 official results / GTAS 2013 Drivers Championship standings

Sonicrealms Racing drivers practically dominated this round as they had 3 driver lead in all sessions,but fuel calculation failure for 2 of their drivers and a crash for 3rd in race 1 destroyed their clean sweep of round,giving a quadruple win for Race Green Autosports in race 1. A.Valta is the winner of this round as he collected 28 points over 3 sessions by taking pole position and winning race 2.
Since championship leader M.Kapal did not attend in this round,GTAS Drivers Championship has a new leader - Invecs now leads standings by 9 points over his teammate Falcon,with another RGA driver Rony as 3rd,4 more points behind leader. Invecs keeps his lead in FX Master standings,3 points ahead of Falcon. FZ Master standings new leader is Rony,who is 4 points ahead of M.Kapal. M.Kapal is now pushed off his lead in XR Master standings too,but he still keeps 2nd place 8 points behind new leader Invecs.
Race Green Autosports has now a massive 80 points lead over closest rivals Savage Simsports in Teams Championship,Sonicrealms Racing jumps right into 3rd position after attending just 1 round. Latvia pulls out 58 point lead in Nations Cup over Czech Republic,Canada with just 1 driver is still 3rd.

Still most of the series is ahead - round 4 marks the middle point of season and it will be hosted at the only urban environment of LFS - South City,using it's 2.9km Chicane Route reversed configuration.

Round 4 marks the mid-point of season and it's held in the newest LFS official configuration - South City Chicane Route reversed,which is a 2.9km long urban racetrack,featuring fast curvy straights,few slow turns and the shadowed chicane,every race will be 21 laps long as it's possible to lap the course under 1 minute. After custom starts in previous round,races of this round will be started with default LFS start.

Round 4 official results / GTAS 2013 Drivers Championship standings

A.Valta from Sonicrealms Racing kept up what he did round before - leading races,this time no fuel calculation errors and he scored the maximum 35 points a driver can score in single round - pole position,wins and fastest laps in both races,actually he was the only driver who did a lap under 1 minute mark and he did it in all sessions. Interesting that every single driver choosed FZR as qualifying car,while the field divided 50/50 in race car choise.

In Drivers Championship standings Invecs incresed his gap to closest rival by 2 points,while there was a change in the closest rival position itself - Rony overtakes Falcon and is now 11 points behind the leader,Falcon - 13 points. With 105 points still up for grabs,theoretically anyone still can win championship,while realistic chance beside top3 have just A.Valta and M.Kapal,who are accordingly 39 and 40 points behind the leader. Invecs is also the leader in FX Master standings,now 4 points ahead of Rony. The latter extends his lead in FZ Master standings by 2 points over M.Kapal. In XR Master standings Invecs has a 17 point over A.Valta,but still has to drive the XR in qualifying in at least 1 of next 3 rounds.
Teams Championship is strongly dominated by the hosting team Race Green Autosports which has now a massive 115 point lead over Sonicrealms Racng,but Latvia is 108 points ahead of Czech Republic in Nations Cup standings. Both these titles theoretically could be secured in next round if the gap after round 5 exceeds 128 points,which is realistic maximum (more possible if teammates/compatriotes share fastest laptime in race) in 2 last rounds.

Round 5 will be held in shortened Fern Bay Gold version called Fern Bay Golden Sprint. This race will also have the custom start,where the grid is located at bridge straight.

Round 5 of 7 ist the point where main candidates for all titles will be crystalized out of the rest. The venue for it - a shortened Fern Bay Gold configuration named Fern Bay Golden Sprint - a 2.5km racetrack using the most of original FE3 track,but cutting the start/finish straight,first hairpin and chicane over the other part of FE1,which is quite twisty and bumpy. Each race will be 21 laps long again,as it's possible to lap this track under 1 minute again. Exiting garage you must turn right and follow the FE1/3/4 track to join course,joining the track to left direction will be considered as wrong way driving!
This will be the second race with custom start,as the available original LFS grid is outside track's path. The new grid is located on the railway straight,and it's marked with white chalk markers on ground. Every participant is expected to be familiar with custom starting procedure described in main post of this thread,if there are any uncertainties,please ask them before start!

Round 5 official results / GTAS 2013 Drivers Championship standings

Sonicrealms Racing took all the glory also in this race - A.Valta secured pole position and quite dominant win in race 1,but his connection issues went worse in race 2,making forced retirement,but his teammate Litro took over and won race 2,he also counts as round winner,as he scored the most points despite a very unlucky race 1.

With 2 rounds to go,Invecs slightly increased his Drivers Championship lead to 12 points over Rony,Falcon is 19 points behind leader - currently looks like the title will go to one of these 3 drivers,but other 2 drivers have theoretical chance - A.Valta,who is 45 points behind and M.Kapal - 66 points behind with a maximum of 70 points available in last 2 rounds. In FX Master standings the driver order is the same,but points differences are much smaller - Invecs loses half of his lead and is now just 2 points ahead of Rony,Falcon is 6 points behind,within striking distance is also A.Valta with 12 points gap to leader,with Pacans being the last theoretical threat to title with 32 points gap - maximum possible points available in 2 rounds with one car. In FZ Master standings situation is much different - 6 drivers are eligible for title,but Rony has solid 17 points gap over M.Kapal,meaning that he needs to keep the gap same to secure the title even before last round of series. Invecs has a healthy 10 point lead over Falcon in XR Master standings,with A.Valta following another 5 points behind - these 3 drivers will decide the winner of this title,allthough there are another 3 drivers with theoretical chance.

Race Green Autosports has a massive 119 points advantage over closest rivals Sonicrealms Racing,meaning that RGA needs to score just 10 points in next 2 rounds to practically secure Teams Championship title. Nations Cup has already been won by hosting nation Latvia with 2 rounds to go,with Finland and Canada to battle for 2nd place in standings,while Czech Republic can also join this party if any drivers will join.

With 2 rounds to go,no driver can violate series car usage restrictions (round restrictions still to obey of course).

Next round is the last round where any driver can still take part and qualify himself to season finale by scoring at least 1 point,as only drivers with a minimum of 1 point will be allowed in last round - currently 14 drivers (of 22 signed up) are eligible for race in final round. But there is still another round to go,which will be run on the very classic GTR shorttrack configuration - the 3.1km long Aston Club!

The penultimate round of this new league is next - Aston gives everyone the last chance to score points for everyone,who hasn't scored any until now,as only drivers,who have some numbers on their points account will be allowed to participate in final round!
Nations cup has already it's winner - Latvia,Rony has a good chance to secure FZ Master award,while Race Green Autosports needs just few points to secure Teams Championship,but all other titles most likely will be decided in final round so there is still enough intrigue for final rounds!
Aston Club is the course for round 6 - the 3.1km short track will be rounded 21 times each race,as one lap can be driven under 1 minute. FZR has a slight advantage here in terms of hotlapping pace,while FXR and XRR are pretty equal,which could be somewhat different for races - car choises could give some interesting mixing of field!
