Round 6 official results / GTAS 2013 Drivers Championship standings

Unfortunatelly only 3 real racing fanatics attended in penultimate round,but the triel was still quite intense - Invecs left the track as round winner by just 1 point with his pole position and race 2 win.

Even if it was just 1 point lead increase,Invecs now has a relatively confortable 13 point lead in Drivers Championship over Rony and he needs to collect just 23 points (he scored only in 1st round less than that) in last round to secure the title,which is 3rd place in both races and 1 bonus point. Since FX Master standings leader Invecs used the FXR in qualifying in last round,he scored just 3 points and got overtaken by both his teammates - Rony now leads by 6 points over Falcon. With a win in race 1 with FZR,Rony secured his FZ Master title to claim 1st individual title of GTAS,but Invecs won 2nd race with XRR,to take away also the XR Master title from available awards.

With no competition joining in previous round,Race Green Autosports took all 64 points from round and secured also the Teams Championship. Even if Latvia has won the Nations Cup,there is still some competition in this championship - Canada overtook Finland for 2nd place and their only driver Falcon has to defend the position with 23 points lead against possible 2 finnish drivers.

There is also another award added very lately - Unofficial Manufacturers Award. Unofficial because the winner is Eric Bailey anyway. Allthough FZR counts as the fastest car GTR class,needing to be restricted anywhere else to make it more even with others,here it's left in last position with XRR taking all the glory - it has 8 points lead over FXR (using same scoring system as teams and nations championships) and XRR has won 7 from 12 races so far,while FZR has most pole positions and race fastest laps.

Just the final round is left in GTAS 2013 and there are just 2 titles left to decide their winners - the main Drivers Championship and FX Master award. A total of 14 drivers have scored at least one point to qualify for season finale at Race Green International Raceway,layed out in autocross field in Kent. The final round will feature hotlap qualifying and also a custom start due to original (unchangable) grid facing wrong direction.

Just final round left in Grand Turismo Allrounder Series - we're visiting the parking lot of Kent,where the 1.2km Race Green International Raceway is layed out - a wide track featuring just 4 turns and run in anti-clockwise direction. Each of both races will be 38 laps long,as you can do a lap in just over half minute time.
This round will feature different qualifying then other rounds due very short lap lenght - hotlap qualifying. The order will be determined by points standings - the highest ranked driver will start his laps last,lowest - first. Every driver will have a chance to run 1 outlap and then 2 hotlaps,where best time will decide the starting position as per standart qualifying. After completing 2nd hotlap,driver should spectate. Minimum lenght of qualifying is 20 minutes.
Due the unchangable fact that starting grid is fixed just to wrong direction for this track,the custom starting procedure will be used also here. Here's a little graphical guide for this track:


After LFS green lights,all drivers form a single file and follow the guideline shown in picture - through opening in pitwall enter pitlane and turn 180° left when reaching pit exit to join the marked grid,where the polesitter takes the first position in left (inner) side of front row,2nd place takes right side on front row and so on. Every participant is expected to be familiar with custom starting procedure described in main post of this thread,if there are any uncertainties,please ask them before start!

Server info about it will be sent via LFSforum PM to all qualified drivers later in monday,until then server will remain publically available.

Round 7 official results

Also the very short track layed out in carpark was uninteresting for most eligible drivers and season finale saw only 4 competitors,where one of them left before races as these had "too much laps". The Drivers Championship main candidate Invecs kept his head cool and scored the neccesary points to clinch the title.




Unfortunatelly this league experienced very low interest,as only few drivers shared positive opinion about league format - the challenge to master all 3 of LFS's GTR cars in sprint distance races. Only 15 of 22 signed-up drivers took part at least in one round,averaging 6 drivers attending per round,ranging from 3 to 9 in single round. Unfortunately outside challengers never showed any consistent strength,so all titles went to organization team members:
