I could see if they made that but I can only find data saying that they made 305 at 3460 pounds. 360 at the engine maybe, but then you could say that the srt-4 has 260-270 weighing 2880. Which Mach1 are you thinking? I haven't found anything mustang that weighs that much, jeez that almost as much as charger hehe.
SVT cobra came with 390HP 6 speed manual that weight in at 3800 pounds for the convertable.
Mach 1 didn't come in a convertable so it couldn't have been that.
I'm not trying to put you down, skittles are quick little cars no doubt. But it comes to a point where srt-4 owners think they have the fastest car on the road. You will only beat 05 vettes when theres a BAD driver, you find a decent driver and you will see tail lights. actually.. you will have to squint to see them.
And I find it extremely funny that you say your srt-4 handles like a miata.. Have you ever driven a miata? I've driven SRT-4s alot and they handle very sloppy, the rear end is WAY too light, it swings out whenever you try to take a corner hard, and the car has more understeer then ANY FWD I've ever driven. Upgraded suspension or not, SRT-4s cannot handle.
Hehe wasn't my intention to say it's THE fastest, it's not. I guess I didn't say the right words.
Stock SRT-4 suspension is crap with tons of understeer, ACR handles much better. Still get the rear end hop on VERY heavy braking and if you come in too hot your going to understeer, thats how FWD's are. I have been burned a few times saying it handles like a miata, my wording was off again, performance data wise they are the same or very very similar, but in terms of actually handling I think the miata would be a much more fun car to drive, but the SRT-4 would be right there, the driver just not having quiet as much fun when he has to deal with tire hop and understeer.
