ohyeah
this has been said before in other words, but what I think we're suffereing from are the negative side effects of being around for a long time. Me included! Every day answering emails can get a bit boring and annoying, reading a mail from some crack-user wondering why he was banned on the forum, or no longer allowed to upload hotlaps. The nerve!
But, that is part of my job and that is my problem.
However, you old-timers (in the sense of playing LFS for a while now) probably have seen it all as well. The funny threads and pictures, the deep conversations about inner workings of sims and real cars, but also the bitching and and moaning and general topics you don't agree with. And now after all this time, what is there to write about?
I think it will be a good thing if we all stopped for a while (not literally please) and thought about that. It's what I have to do as well from time to time. Think back to when you were a freshman and remember the joy and try to get that back again. And be sensitive to one another. As is stated in the forum regulations :
I know it's probably an impossible task to all get along - maybe in another 2000 years - who knows, but gotta try now anyway
