We at Last Lap Motorsports have a few new drivers to announce, and some whom we forgot to announce, that have been around for a bit. We feel that we should introduce them all at one shot.
Some of our newcomers:
Paul “Spannemann” Mante
A 23 year old German from Hannover that works in a hospital. Paul enjoys karting, and motorsports in general. He has found himself in a number of well known teams in the Live for Speed community. The most well known being Team EVO, SonicRealms Racing, and most recently Nitor Velox. Paul will join us in our bid to retain our GT2 championship lead over Team Vires in the GT World Series and hopefully we will be able to claim our third win of the series. Paul will be an important aspect of this team as we continue to grow inside of LFS and other sims.
Joel “Darrajunior” Näreaho
A flying Finn who made his return to LFS at the time of the Blackwood round as a prospective reserve driver. Darra proved to be a bit out of shape since his last outing but has since proved that he is back on pace. Darra drove last round in our 62 car but will contest the next round in our 52 car as we go for the championship. Darra’s past team is the famous Finnish team [DRUNK] Team where he was teammates with Matt.
Jake “fwj515” Cameron
Unfortunately a Chelsea fan who resides in Ipswich, England and was one of the original members of Last Lap Motorsports upon our coming to LFS. Jake was part of the original effort in which LLM drivers tried to enter GTAL and failed massively. He drove alongside Ray and Oscar Hardwick. At the 12 hours of Aston Jake helped crewchief the team to our victory generating with Ray a strategy, and information, that helped Remco and Jordan secure victory for the 52 car. Jake joins us after a brief stint at nFinity eSports. Jake too will be driving in the 52 car next round.
People that should’ve been introduced quite some time ago:
Vytautas “Excellent15” Laguckas
Another talented Lithuanian who comes from the massive Lithuanian LFS community. Just briefly after joining the team and purchasing his S2 license he proved his pace to be quite good and was placed as a driver for the 62 car at Blackwood. After both of the main team cars had failures he stepped in and co-piloted the 52 car to a second place finish (before penalties relegated us to fourth) in his first ever league race. He has been here for a while, but we owe him a real welcome for his efforts. He too will pilot the 52 car at the 24 hours of Kyoto.
Ričardas “narkoze” Petravičius
Yet another Lithuanian who joins us. He has featured a few times in the 62 car and also drove last GT Masters round. Ričardas managed to get himself into the top split for the last GT Masters race and put in a solid effort. He too has been around a while, but we look forward to an everlasting development as he learns to become even better, and his improvement so far is quite good.
Nojus “iFastLT” Vaikšnoras
Nojus joins us in an effort to further establish our pace, as well as our Lithuanian driver pool. Nojus is another example of a driver who with further refinement can get some good results under his belt.
Lukas “Talentas” Sabaliauskas
Lukas is the next Lithuanian driver who joined us some time ago and is also a developmental driver. Lukas raced the last GT Masters round and pre-qualified for split two. To the amazement of a few of us, he took the pole and held a solid pace before being forced off and not finishing the race.
Jorge “Cyclone_u2” Bento
Jorge is joining us as a developmental driver after a pair of Portuguese drivers joined for some league experience. Jorge still remains and is looking to continue gaining experience.
