I've got a HP Pavilion DV7-4150ea with a HP TrueVision (or whatever crap name they gave it) webcam installed.

Since my new hard drive was installed, along with a fresh copy of W7 Ultimate 64bit, my webcam uses different drivers and no longer lets me use the camera on google chrome (such as YouTube's quick recorder, Facebook or Omegle) -this is slightly useless.

Has anybody got any ideas? It's got all the permissions set to allow it, including the privacy settings in Chrome.

Does it have a driver at all on your new system? Check the device manager.

It claims to be a microsoft one, I have no idea what the other driver is.

It works for skype, that's the odd thing...
