Hi,

Everytime I want to join a server, I get an error message 'Cant receive UDP packet' ('Host ontving je UDP pakket niet' in Dutch). I have this problem for a week now, never had this problem before.
I don't know what to do now, so I hope you could help me with this problem!

first, what anti virus are you using? since if it's norton that can be the problem

This could as well be your ISP issue. Try to disable any network filtering software that might be running on your computer (personal firewall, AV, ...). If it is possible, try to connect another PC to your network and check if the problem is present there too. If none of the above helps, contact your ISP tech support. Some ISPs try to save bandwidth so badly that they filter any "suspicious" traffic and perhaps some recent update of their filters settings accidentally cut LFS off...

Can also be modem/router problem or problem hoster.

Try reboot modem/router first.

Unfortunately the modem reset wasn't helpful.
I'll contact my ISP (KPN).

Next step disable or remove firewall or look into firewall and look what ports are open for lfs. Reinstall nic can also help but i think problem is in firewall.

The problem must be somewhere
I think KPN helpdesk doesn't help with this problem and when you rebooted everything between modem and pc problem must be on PC.

But the game always worked on this computer with the same configuration. And I have already tried to play with AVG disabled, but that also wasn't working.
Before I call, I'll try to run it on another pc as Madcatx said.

Try with other pc then you know for sure where to search....

I've tried that already, but no succes. And I called monday, but they couldn't help me.

I have that too sometimes. It came like nowhere but I still can join if I wait little bit or try to join again few times.

When you've done all above then take pc too friend and look if thats working.

When that works you know it's modem/router.

But i hope it allready works

I'm wondering what server you try too connect too?

I found out I have same problem at [TC] Citydriving wanted too say hi too friend but got everytime udp problem. So far this was only server I have this and I think it might be on their side.

I also have ISP KPN
