If the time that has been spent arguing about the semantics of a few posts in 2008 had gone into actually using what was already to hand, most of the crap on this forum would have been drowned out by the GOOD that could have been happening.

Instead, we have people arguing the semantics, and those who try to put on events to satiate those who want them are suffering for it.

At least 4 events have been cancelled in various series over the last few months, due to lack of participation. In the league events that have been run, I still see people racing. They have more fun and more competition when people actually race - it's much better than trundling about by yourself.

There's plenty of energy still in LFS; it's just misdirected.
