Some Questions , since i become Lazy to setup my G27 all the Time when i wanna do some racing, i wanna use my xbox360 controller for some quick fun.

My Problem is , i don't really know how to set it up and all the links from google are so out of date (2006 / 2008) or don't work anyway.

My Main Problem right now is , that i wanna add some Deadzone to the Left Stick (Steering) because it's to sensitiv , the Windows Drivers don't allow this , xbdc doesn't work on Windows Vista (he don't see the Controller connectet)

any solutions?

Am I the only one who thinks that adding dead-zone makes it even more sensitive?
i would just add 5% because the stick already moves when i don't even touch it ingame.

But ur right it wouldn't fix the Main Problem , the Stick is still to sensitiv.
I guess i give it up.
oow like that, misunderstood what kind of sensitivity you ment
hi everyone,

I,ve also a Xbox 360 controller ( wireless). Indeed the left stick is very sensitive. Ive tried XBCD and that program doesnt work on Windows 7.

Also tried Xpadder and Pinnacle Game Profiler, but no results.
Inside LFS you can turn the deadzone On/Off but it doesnt have any effect at all.

is there any other solution to change the deadzone for these controllers??
maybe steering compensation / rate??
i,ve tried every control settings.

I have found a temporary solution.

I have set the Left stick to control the mouse, in XPadder. Then i can set a deadzone of 18%, and inside LFS and set the Mouse X axis as steering.

It works like a sharm but sometimes you will see the cursor jumping on your screen, which could be annoying.
