I noticed the Comet from GTA:IV (and GTA:V) looks like a newer FZ50, like 2005 to 2009-ish.

I think Porsche 911.

FZ50 is 996, Pfister Comet (lol) is 997.

Yes, obviously both are based off of a 911 Carrera.

But between the FZ50 and Comet, they look very much alike. They look more like each other than actual 911's.

I guess you'd have to understand vehicle dynamics, to tell whether if the engine is in the front, mid or rear.

this is what the manual says FZ50 (FZ5) - Porsche 911/996 Mk1 GT3 (general design), Ferrari 550 (styling)

I, quite a few years ago (2008!) changed the front bumper in 3ds max to a porsche design. Think it looked quite nice..
