Could not conclude if I can create custom map/track
Hi,

I have been reading in the forum for the past few days, due to some very old topics I could not conclude if I can create custom map/tracks or not

I want to modify autocross track to make road longer, wider, adding more lanes…and this kind of modifications.

Yes no ?

Thanks
no
To clarify a bit better.. No, because you are a demo driver. You can use the layout / track editor when you buy a S1 or S2 license.

You mean through clicking on SHIFT+U ? but that does not allow me to
make the road wider or longer rather than creating objects and manipulating
them.
Whatever your license status (demo, S1 or S2), you cannot create custom maps or tracks (or cars for that matter).

In the AutoX area, assuming you have the appropriate license rights, you can place objects (lines, tyres, cones, barriers, etc) to layout a track shape (in the form of a 'corridor' that you follow) on the tarmac (and certain sections of grass). You can also place objects on the normal LFS tracks.

The best that can be done for 'custom' tracks are using the open configurations of the existing LFS tracks. For instance on Kyoto, instead of just having KY1, KY2 and KY3, in the open configurations the barriers between certain parts (routes) of the track have been removed, and you can place barriers to force drivers to take a different route.

The LFS community has now given some of these routes their own standard track configuration abbreviations, such as K21, K31, K32, etc. See HERE for more info.
In the shift+u editor you can place objects such as plyons, tire stacks, barriers etc.
There is a parking lot where is probally best place to create new tracks. One can use those objects to create slalom courses etc. Examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKixkEItUxU
https://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=8724

You can also build normal race tracks (for multiple cars):

from https://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=81847

If you place objects on the normal tracks you can create extra chicanes or make the road more narrow.

But you can not for example remove trees or houses to make the road wider.
The tracks look like this:

So you can block of some sections etc and create a new layouts.
Omg , please stop cracking the game and support lfs by buying it! And no you cant modify the track because your not one of the devs , you can only change textures .

No one talked about cracking, it was a question to confirm yes or no.
You do not know how much licenses I purchased for myself and my friends,
might be the biggest LFS supporter
We have heard these stories from many, question is - why noone from all these does not login to lfsforum with one of his licenced accounts?

Here is my licensed account, you feel better now
Who says that's true? Perhaps you're just a friend that posts here.

lol!
Quote from Chriship :Well, in that picture i posted i can count +- 100 players in total online, but the list is longer since there were other 13 servers more in the page 2.

That would cause a massive drop of Online players ... (?)

Who cares? They're not in our version of the game.
And my views on DDOS were considered unworkable !
Welcome to their world.

Lets just be a@holes, wipe all versions other than the current, hide server IP's and run it all under the Master server, wot is run under protection.

Please remember that I want the nail studded club, it's other people here that feel that the big stick approach isn't fair to the poor little kiddies.
It's a bit weird that 0.5X still is supported, you don't even need a registered account but besides that, what the hell are you talking about?

DDOS, server ip's, world of tanks? What has this got to do with 0.5X
