The game will be very interessant if in off-line mode, you can buy some performance upgrades to your car, like:

Transmission
Suspension
Better Tires (Grip or Drift)
Brakes
...

that's my suggestion, and will be very interessant if needs an specific car to some parts.

You need to do a custom car, and a custom setup to do this.

Transmission is free in the setup menu
Better brakes are also free, in the setup menu
Suspension upgrades are also, you guessed it, free in the setup menu.
Better tyres can be achieved with tweak. Some cars such as XRT comes with grip/drift tyre options without tweak.

And lastly. Engine; tweak.

Instead of this, I would introduce back the licence point system as is in cargame.nl servers and/or in older versions of LFS.

Do i remember correctly when I was little I drove LFS demo cars and after each race (even offline) I got credits for finishing first-fourth?

EDIT: im not strictly against buying car parts for in-game money though I really don´t mind.
