Get Assetto Corsa intead, it's the new LFS, with better graphics and physics, it is currently in early access, but you will receive the full game and its cheaper than LFS, they are releasing cars and tracks every two weeks! You won't regret it, so much fun driving ferrari f40 and such

As nice as Assetto Corsa might be, afaik it has no multiplayer yet.
Think if he was interessted in offline play he would not ask how many people are playing?

He said "when I buy the game" perhaps multiplayer will be out by then, but idk, just think assetto corsa would be better as live for speed is like done

Warlab server has people on it pretty much all the time, few other servers that will have 5+ people on it but depends when you play.

I still rate LFS higher then Assetto Corsa for drifting, a better drift car would probably change that tho, the BMW E30 Drift is no XRT :P
