Agree, and with serious frame rate issues too. It's a real mess imo and doesn't make up for it anywhere else either. Worst. Gran Turismo. Ever.

Seriously, unless you are a photo mode kid then it probably is the worst ever.

i wouldnt say its the worst ever... the driving physics do feel better than gt5, but imo just looks terrible.. maybe they should of got rid of the leaves, animated bodies around the tracks etc and make it look better..

also what the actual f*** is that cockpit shake! its completely un-drivable!

I guess someone realised they'd forgotten to model the suspension in 5 and they have fixed that, but it's still not great. Perhaps with good a.i I could tolerate the shortcomings, but even the shortest races feel like a grind now, there's no fun to it, and the ropey graphics just grate on me. Older games might have been technically inferior, but they were solid looking not glitch fests, and they had the gt charm that I really don't get with 6.

Imo it's a big step up from GT5, it has more attitude in it. GT5 was too clean and it felt boring after playing it for few weeks. GT6 has more that original GT feeling in it and I can imagine playing it for a much longer time than GT5. I like the new driving physics, more enjoyable to drive with dualshock. And the graphics are better than GT5, seriously what did you expect from a PS3 game?

All GT6 is a filler to keep their 2 titles per console running. I wouldn't be bagging it's development, it's just a bit of fun and I'm in it more for the online fun with my mates.

When GT 7 comes out that should be the title that should get some serious scrutiny as they should have more scope for development. If they can't get that console racer to something close to a PC simulator then they need to have a good look at themselves.

The thing is, proper simulators don't sell that well on consoles.

No, I think they should continue with one disk. All the real simracers play on PC. Except GTPlanet community...

GT5 online support ends on 20th May 2014. Online was one of the reasons why i didn't end up buying GT6 in the end. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts then.

Maybe I'm overly fussy but imo gt5 looks better. It's way smoother and more glossy too. Bathurst is a joke, really, no gt5 track looks so awful. I don't expect miracles, and perhaps I played gt5 too much and wanted a real improvement, which was optimistic of me.

They touched up a few things and fixed a few glitches. And fixed the wheelbase issue

I played a while online last night... I think its rubbish..

The faster the cars go the worse they get, i tuned up a gt86 on racing softs and it was trying to tip over in corners.. The camera shake is shocking, the ffb is crap.. There is a heavy damped feel where everything you do feels like its lagging behind, when you loose the rear end the wheel doesnt feel no different and you just start over correcting..

I wouldnt bother getting it in hindsight.

You just can't win with a wheel in the later events. I had to use a controller for several. That's not a racing sim, that's an arcade game lol.
