Today Corse Motorsports has been given an early christmas present! We are proud to announce our latest member and multiple world record holder.

After Jati's old team 1stBFA announced to not continue any further, Jati remained teamless. As many drivers going back a long while with Jati, the basis, a good relationship was always there. On first christmas day Jati has decided to Join Corse Motorsports!
As one of the most active and experienced drivers in LFS, we are all looking forward to race with Jati. Both on personal and professional level, everyone within Corse Motorsports is convinced about a perfect fit and long term success we are going to have together.

A driver with a personality which fits the Corse team very well, is from now on to be known as;
Corse\ xyx
After driven many races mainly on the oval with great succes, he already felt as being part of Corse Motorsports. Many drivers within Corse go a while back with Xyx. Corse has decided today that we should invite xyx to become a full member of our team. With his joining xyx has chosen teamnumber #06.
As he is a talented oval driver, we and Corse's oval specialists looking very much forward to race with xyx. We are convinced about a good fit and a long term relationship.

So the promised information about some changes within the Corse organisation.
We had the idea for a while now to create an environment where to race under serious circumstances which at the same time separate both the Roadcar and GT car racing worlds.
This resulted in the fact that Corse got 4 servers now which are all open for public. We have one Oval server, 2 Rotation servers and 1 general S2 server.
Corse Motorsports GT Rotate
With this server we will try to provide a place for very nice GT Car racing. Basically the available cars are devided in 4 separate classes. Depending on the rank you have on our servers, we let people start in the NGT class. This class excists of the UFR and XFR car. When being a reasonable serious driver, you will quickly promovate up to the next level in ranks. This means you will be able to drive the GT3 class, next is GT2 and the final is obviously the GT1 class without restriction or weight.
Classes and Restrictions:
NGT Class: No restriction needed. (No specific rank necessary)
GT3 Class: FZ3=28%, XR3=34%, FX3=32% (80 Points necessary)
GT2 Class: FZ2=20%, XR2=24%, FX2=23% (150 Points necessary)
GTR Class: No restriction or weight needed (250 Points necessary)
This system is also there to make sure not the least experienced LFS drivers immediatly take a seat in a GT1 car, this in order to avoid possible race ruination.
Corse Motorsports Roadcar Rotate
This server has basically the same setup as the GT Rotate server. The server has a rotate system with voting allowed, so drivers can vote for tracks to drive on. The allowed Roadcars are GTI, TBO, RAC and FZ5, separated in 3 classes. Again new drivers will have to start in the GTI class and quickly gain points so they will be able to drive the higher classes as well. The server is abbreviated in the server list as Corse Motorsports Roadcar due to length.
Classes:
GTI: XFG and XRG (No specific rank needed)
TBO: XRT,FXO and RB4 (80 points needed)
RAC/FZ5: (150 points needed)
Corse Motorsports Oval
Although this might be quite obvious, this is a pro oval racing server. Corse Motorsports has quite some oval drivers in the team and this provides them with a good place to race on oval.
Corse Motorsports S2
The S2 server will be a general server without a rotation system. This server can be in qualifying or practice mode. This will also be the only server which could be locked to non Corse members. Track and car change is allowed here, it is a good place to test or build setups for example.
Marshalls and V.I.Ps
Friends of Corse Motorsports or other drivers we do know well, could be voted to become a Corse Track Marshall or a V.I.P driver. This means they will have limited admin rights and will keep an eye out for safe driving.
In General
We have tried to organise the servers in a way they do not leave much room for idling, offroad driving, crashing, speeding in pitlane etc. All those things we see too much today. We all hope we can run it in a way which provides decent racing no matter if drivers are slower or faster. A bit like the old days.
