Kyoto Oval Pits/GP Long transition part
I thought about two problems from league racing in the past years with the start/finish area of the Kyoto Oval in its configurations.
Problem one is that the curved pitlane causes some problems by leading people to cut through it, to shorten it, which does some effect in Kyoto with the long pit lanes. Moreover in case of an accident in this area, people could be kicked into pitlane or out of bounce, as an accident would play ping-pong between the walls.
Second is the chicane leading from the oval to the GP Long loop, where, in endurance racing especially, the so called Boothy Chicane was installed via Autocross editor to slow down the racers on the approach. However, there are a few people who like the original layout of GP Long.

I tried to attack both problems with this idea, without changing the original character too much, seeing that the chicane is having an additional, slower layout. Keep in mind that this is just my personal idea and not a true proposual.

exactly this, and there should be more pit boxes (NASCAR style), so there wouldn't be any problems when there is a mandatory green flag pitstop. because serieusly, what did they think when they made 16 boxes for oval racing?

16 Teams with 2 players each = 32 cars on track.

Lots of racing series have it this way, probably what you have to change is the way a league works, instead of 32 single players which would need 32 pit boxes in case everyone wants to pit at the same time, its easier to split the 32 players in 16 teams so that the first 16 users from the team pit at for example at lap 20 and the others at lap 25.

we are talking oval racing here. it doesn't work that way if there is a green flag mandatory pit stop. everyone pits lap 1, because if you don't and there's a yellow (which is normally the case in lfs oval racing), you are fckd from every direction, because on a yellow, the whole field closes the gap.

also, in a yellow flag situation, how do you want to split the group up? everyone wants to be the first pit out, and you can't wait one lap to pit.

I think it is similiar to track cutting in other areas: in chicanes, certain turns, driving on apron of oval, not obeying correct way to enter/exit pit lane (especially Kyoto) etc.

I think for league racing that is just a rule that race admins have to look out for and if nessecary give out penality.

For example place some pylons at the grid boxes. After exiting the grid box you must move to right side of pitlane before the next pylon, and stay there until exit.
