i think this would be great fun for the people that use lfs tune, itd be great fun to make the fastest car u can make, and see how fast the game can actualy stand..

Good idea..

+1 I think its a great idea. Im not really into building tracks, but since its straight the devs could just "copy paste" one part all along, maybe invert it sometimes, just like they do on animations, so it wouldnt take too much time to do and still have a great result.

I would love to see a drome-ed or something like it make to where you can create your own tracks, especially bigger areas and more objects like road signs and actual speed bumps, I live in the states and i haven't left California but one time, i drove to Utah and it was amazing, because i drove at night when i drove across Nevada it was a good 200 mile straight and i was able to see what my little car was able to top out at and how long it would take to run out of gas at a constant speed. I defiantly agree about making the drag strip track longer, in my case i would make it like 10 miles long, had i got the resources to actually make the track i would have done it years ago. if the creators of lfs see this, please make one in the next update, it can be a whole new track and dosent even have to be a drag strip.

P.S: also a better clutch system would be nice, it seems way to easy to burn out a new clutch in a regular car. I drive a 6 speed 02 Honda s2000 and never had my clutch burn out that fast ( like within 3 minutes).

Even though I'm a demo player, I still vote +1 because a longer drag strip could nake measuring a cars top speed manually more easier and could make a gymkhana-style track/layout more easier to make.
+1 Yes.

I never play drag in LFS because it is unrealistically short, you can only practice starts, not slipstreaming with some grid of 4 or 8
Yep, would be a good idea having a runway similar to the one used at the latest F&F movie. (approximately 40km long...)
Totally a good idea for online racing etc.
yep mabye its one of the secret tracks that eric is/has been doing
On the bright side; it's quite easy to make the strip longer.

But on the other hand; it's probably not that much fun after all. If you wanna top out your car, just crank the final up to 5:1

Use the effort for something better imo. Like the new tyre physics or a naice mountain track.
I'd like a 2 mile strip, but not as much as I'd like all the grass around it.

I want this to i dont even care about scenery or stuff just give me a long straight -.-

but on this forum and game its just a bunch of hopes and dreams isnt it.
