DFGT stops responding
Very annoing issue.
Quite often my wheel would magicaly stop responding to my input, I think (can't really tell for sure) FFB vanishes and then comes back to hold wheel in one position, also the input from pedals keeps the same level as from the moment when the issue occured.
In general, I can't turn my wheel, pressing any button or pedal doesn't work, the car keeps turning and accelerating (didn't really happened when braking I guess) the same way as moment ago, when wheel was working.
To make it work again I have to unplug it from USB and then plug it again.
I've read it has something to do with USB overload, but only things I have plugged except the wheel are my mouse and my keyboard, and one loose USB cord for graphic tablet.

Also I have noticed (but I am not sure if it always happens) that the GT logo turns off for a brief moment.
What can be the cause of this?
Hi, sound like there can be two causes:
1) software: LFS somehow loses focus, for example by pop-ups from other software. (windows update-notifications or "low battery" warning or messengers or similiar)
As test try to run in LFS in windowed mode and click outside the window: if you get the same symptoms then that might be it.

2) hardware: some cable is not properly plugged in or broken.
Or less likely if you use an usb-port then try without..some do not keep to standards very well.

I used to have this. Always happened at same time as kitchen appliance turning on/off. Could be a weak home electrics, make sure the pc and wheel are plugged into a surge protect extension Wink

If so, them I'm kinda screwed, beacause I live on campus and there's nothing I can do about electrics.

Although the power supply cable is indeed loose, unplugging it from the wheel does not result in occurance of mentioned issue.

Might actually be the case, since I get lots of them recently.

It's probably what Guthoz said. I have that problem when using mousesteer.
