Regarding Series Points

One question.. How exactly does the points system work here ?
Is it something like R1+R2 points ? it would be nice for a more clear explanation tbh.. I am a bit confused by this :/

Round 3 points will be awarded on the usual points scale.

1st place points will be awarded to the driver with the best average finish in the two races.
2nd palce points will be awarded to the driver with the second best average finish in the first two races.
ect.

Well that didn't work out for me today. In the first race I lost a 4th place just because of too many mistakes and ended up in 6th.

In the 2nd race I was really out of pace for a long time and in the end I overheated my tyres which resulted in another spin and 8th position finally.

Anyway.. looking forward to the final race.

I just have no feeling whatsoever for this thing...
