Hello,
since I have trouble to do live streaming from my computer, I asked myself how to efficiently take on a re-live recording of a stream: e.g. you record the commentators live, and do the stream around it in post production. This brings a few problems with it. since you need to go through everything three times and do camera changes and (if you are not using tv director) the overlays manually.
Recently I came to the idea, that it would be handy to simply use the lfs cameras, the replay time code and the lfs username in some sort of txt file and let the rest be scripted:
with A B C being different standard cameras (e.g. A=TV, B=Heli, C=custom,...)
Afterwards you should be able to just use fraps or alike to record it and you can upload it to youtube.
This would also require some sort of overlay system, TV director like, showing the current standings with gaps. But maybe it could show more information, if they are extractable from the replay file, like time in pitlane, given penalties or fastest laps :P
I hope someone takes on the challenge, I'd be really happy if.
Thanks for reading.
