LFS graphics settings
Hi, i recently reinstalled LFS, bought S3.

with everything maxed, i think, i find the graphics a little bit too sharp. The line on fences and squares from buildings seems like i've dialed some AA settings wrong.

Is there a guide to crank everything to the max, and also do it for the windows drivers.

I'm on a i5 and a GTX960.

Thanks,

In options - graphics are seperate sliders for "mip bias" of objects, road etc.
To the left means "sharper/crispy", to the right means "smoother/more blur"..matter of taste I think.
I've got an i5 & GTX 750Ti and run all four of the MIP bias slider at their furthest right settings, plus the Anti-aliasing & Anisotropic filtering both set to 16x. Looks nice. Smile

Indeed, it did the trick. Thanks a bunch.

I also sent them to the right. Much better.

Fern Bay Black. So many memories!

E - meant right when i wrote left!
Hi/Salut!

As a suggestion you might also want to try to crank up your AA in your video card panel by making an LFS profile. I use the supersampling method at 8x and it makes LFS look much better!

I don't understand how messy noise all over your screen looks better than smooth textures lol.

My brain played a trick on me! Smile

I meant right!
Personally I like to have some of this "noise" like on the road. It adds some grain effect that make things feel less fade and more dynamic to me.
