Hey folks!
My girlfriend and me plan to going on a roadtrip to Northern Italy this May for two weeks. Our main destination will be the Emilia-Romagna and Bologna region with the Lambo factory as one of the highlights. As we'd really like to get to know some nice and local people it's unlikely we'll check in at a hotel.
There is maybe one tiny restriction: The car of choice isn't exactly appropriate for narrow and bumpy streets and alleys, so staying in an old town wouldn't be too helpful. Something rural but at the same time not too remote would be perfect.
So here's the question: Is there anybody in here that can give some good advice on where two petrolheads should go and stay?
