I'm not too worried about setting fast laps for this race. It'll come down to who crashes the least in the end so even if I'm half a second a lap slower than everyone else it could still be good for a top ten finish I reckon. Never come higher than 6th in these GPs anyway.

Ive never finished one, without being 20 laps down, the car wrecked and franky and Z pushing me. Im not worried about times either, but it sure is a nice boost for confidence.

That time might be just fast enough to put you mid pack for the start. Not somewhere I want to be going through turns 1 and 2. Might even start from the pits!

sorry to blow my own trumpet but i've just posted a 1.12.07 with consistant mid 1.13s with 50% fuel so i'm confident

but like GF said, it's all about not spending most of the race on you're roof or in the wall.

1.10.77 invalid hotlap tho and can't make even 10 laps without flipping at least once..

i was doing solid 11's whilst making an endu set. i have the final drive nailed (i just touch 8000rpm at the braking zone for T1) and i have the left side tyres working really good (but not as good as i would like) it is very hard to get any heat into the right side but i think i can make it work with a bit more time.

shame we havn't got the old RSC vBookie going.

been doing some testing with franky and stoney and gentlefoot (mostly T1 2 and 3 lol) and imo race pace will be about 1:13.50 and above, i feel this is the safest pace to get round the track. franky put in a nice pb of 1:12.55 but i think that would be qually pace. this track naturally wants to hurt you lol. so the race will be mostly "competitive" cruising. as we all know the winner will be the one who flips the least...............this track was much less spiteful pre patch.

It's not spitefull, it's just sorting the men from the boys

Fancy posting the set Dadge I've not had much chance to practice, only done a few laps yesterday and not really got the settings working right.....

franky, stoney and i have done some more testing, the set is good and strong (i did 31 laps with no flips) and i think i could get full race out of one set of tyres. my pace is more "safe" then it is flatout but imo that is what will win the race
