Lower FPS and "Hiccups" on Uxx patches?
It's a feeling, and I'm unable to verify it scientifically, But I have a feeling that starting with one of the U patches (not necessarily the latest), I've got lower FPS and sort of hiccups, especially if many people are on the server, and especially in sort of T1 "situations".

I know it's harder on the CPU on T1, but I have a feeling something got worse in one of the U patches. Anyone else got this feeling too? Perhaps something with the new drawing path mechanism?

Do you have simple track OFF
Are your graphic settings same that they were before? Not that you had changed them, but the latest patch has?

Nope, I don't have simple track off, but that's how it always was, so even if I could get a speedup from turning it on, it was fast regardless. However, I did have Haze On.... bahhh.. I clearly remember not touching the graphics settings for quite a while now.. and I definately didn't touch the haze settings. Could it be that it got turned on "automatically" when I used one of the patches? It always could be the case that I accidently clicked it though..

Thx again.. should have gone through the graphics setting first... eventhough I didn't remember changing them. Anyway, turned haze off and it seems fast again thx.

PS.
Do people actually use this option??

Well, I'm using it and I guess it is suggested that it should be on. Can't remember the exact thing what it does, but it had something to do with draw distances and fog, maybe making the objects dizzier when they are further away...or harder to see. Probably the effect is most visible on South City
